This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) provides information regarding the management and protection by Lefts,  of personal data processed from website visits, purchases, calls and surveys.

It also explains the process to exercise individual privacy rights regarding one’s personal data held by Lefts, .

 

I Lefts, COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
1. Collection of data
Lefts, collects personal data through website visits and purchases.

To do so, Lefts, uses cookies, which are small text files, stored on your computer during the site visit.

You can disable cookies through your browser. To know more about cookies please refer to Section III below.

When making your first purchase, you proceed to open an account and provide us with the information required in order to place your order and have it delivered. In doing so, you provide the personal data necessary to contact you and deliver your purchase, such as your full name, email address, shipping address, as well as certain financial information (such as your credit card number). In doing so, you allow Lefts,  to store some of this information in the Lefts, customer database. Your credit card information is not stored by Lefts, and is sent to a secure third party payment processor.

Lefts, may also collect non-personal information about you even if you do not purchase any products on the lefts.tokyo website.

2. What use is made of the information you provide on Lefts.tokyo?
Lefts, may share certain financial and other information that you submit with third parties who provide services to the website. Said third parties proceed to credit reporting, payment or order fulfillment services, such as verifying your information, authenticating payments and processing orders. In order to combat fraudulent online payments, Lefts,, may also share your financial information with a third-party service provider using an online fraud detection tool in order to verify your payment.

Lefts, may also disclose the information you provide on the Lefts.tokyo website to other corporate affiliates in the Operation company of lefts, = MarchingbandcompanyLimited, so that they may contact you namely regarding products and services of such corporate affiliates that may be of interest to you.

Lefts, may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, a subpoena or other legal process. For example, Lefts, may disclose such information as is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against a person or entity who may be violating the Lefts.tokyo Terms and Conditions, or who may be causing injury to, or interfering with, other users of the Lefts.tokyo website. In the event that Lefts,, the the Operation company of lefts, = MarchingbandcompanyLimited,, or all or part of its or their assets, are acquired by a third party, the Lefts.tokyo customer list may be included in the transferred assets.

Please be aware that Lefts, does not control the policies or practices of third parties to which Lefts, discloses information about users of the Lefts.tokyo website and that any use or disclosure of such information by third parties is not governed by this Policy. However, transfers of personal information are governed by contractual clauses which ensure compliance with data protection legislation.

3. Location of data 
Lefts, transfers personal data to JP through the protection of the EU-US Privacy Shield.

4. Security
Lefts, has implemented security measures to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorized access and use. In particular:

• All data is protected according to the varying levels of risks through physical measures, such as secure areas, technical measures, such as encryption, and organisational measures such as employee security through vetting and supervision.

• All data is retained only for as long as it is legally required to be kept and for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or transferred, in accordance with Lefts,’s Retention Schedule.

• Should Lefts, suffer a breach, it would implement its Incident and Breach Response Plan, including notification to Data Protection Authorities, individuals and/or Lefts,’s clients, as applicable, without undue delay.

 

II PROCESSES TO EXERCISE PRIVACY RIGHTS AT Lefts,
1. Changes and access to your personal information
Lefts, responds to individual requests for access to one’s personal data, and for changes as necessary, within one month. You can make these requests by following the instructions in Section II, Clause 6 - Contact Us. Lefts, may ask for an extension and may charge a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs if necessary. Should Lefts, deny the request, it will provide an adequate justification.

2. Rectification 
Rectification requests can be made by following the instructions in Section II, Clause 6 - Contact Us.

Lefts, provides rectification as soon as possible within one month. Should Lefts,  deny the request, it will provide an adequate justification.

3. Right to object 
Individuals may withdraw consent and object to the use of their personal information. In that case, Lefts, will keep the data until the individual chooses to unsubscribe but will not use the data except to provide services requested by said individual.

4. Restriction on processing
Lefts, will inform suppliers and subcontractors as the case may be, of the restrictions on processing of data relating to that individual.

5. Challenging compliance 
An individual whose data is held by Lefts,  may challenge our compliance with data protection obligations by filing a complaint with Lefts, 's Data Protection Officer (the "DPO") by following the instructions in Section II, Clause 6 - Contact Us.

The DPO investigates the complaint in consultation with the Lefts, department which is responsible for the use of the data. Should the complaint be well-founded, Lefts, will take all appropriate measures to resolve the complaint and, if necessary amend its practices as needed.

7. Changes and updates to the Privacy Policy
By using the Lefts.tokyo website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. This Policy reflects the Lefts, current business practices and is subject to change. In the event of any such change or update, a revised policy will be posted on the Lefts.tokyo website. Please check the Lefts.tokyo website periodically to remain informed of any changes or updates to the Lefts,  privacy policies and practices. If you allow Lefts, to retain the personal information you provide on the Lefts.tokyo website in its customer database and Lefts, intends to disclose that information to third parties or affiliated companies in a manner that is not already outlined in this Policy, Lefts, will notify you by email and provide you with an opportunity to opt out of any further use or disclosure of your personal information.

8.Managing your email preferences
When you subscribe to newsletters or notifications, we collect your email to send you exclusive email updates and promotions. 個人情報保護方針

この個人情報保護方針（以下「本方針」という）は、ウェブサイトの閲覧、ご購入、電話によるお問い合わせ、アンケートに関する個人情報について、Lefts,の情報管理および情報保護方針をご説明するものです。

また、本方針は、Lefts,が保管する個人データに関する、お客様のプライバシー権の行使方法についてもご説明しています。

I Lefts,による個人情報の収集

Lefts,は、お客様のウェブサイトの閲覧やご購入を通じて得た情報を収集します。

初めて商品をご購入されるお客様には、最初にアカウントの作成と、ご注文や配送に必要な情報の提供をお願いしております。その際、Lefts,は、お客様のご氏名、メールアドレス、配送先のご住所など、お客様にご連絡および商品をお届けするために必要なデータ、および金融情報（クレジットカード番号等）を取得します。情報のご提供により、お客様は、Lefts,の顧客データベースに、これらの個人情報の一部が保管されることに同意したものとみまします。お客様のクレジットカード情報は、Lefts,は保管せず、セキュアな第三者決済プロセッサーに送信されます。

Lefts,は、お客様がLefts.tokyoのサイト（以下「本ウェブサイト」という）で商品をご購入されない場合でも、個人情報にあたらない情報を収集する場合があります。

 

2. ご提供いただいた情報のお取り扱い

Lefts,は、個人情報をEU-US Privacy Shieldで保護したうえで、日本へ送信し、管理しております。

4. セキュリティ

Lefts,は、お客様から提供いただいた個人情報を、不正なアクセスおよび不正な使用から保護するために、対策を講じています。具体的には、以下の通りです。

• 全てのデータは、リスクのレベルに応じて、安全な保管場所といった物理的措置、暗号化といった技術的措置、ならびに社員に対する身元調査や監督といった組織的措置によって保護されています。

• 全てのデータは、法で定められている期間、および、その収集と移譲の目的を達成するのに必要な期間のあいだ、Lefts,の「保管スケジュール」(Retention Schedule) に基づき、保管され続けます。

• Lefts,が違反に直面した場合は、「事故および違反への対応プラン」(Incident and Breach Response Plan) に則り、場合に応じて、データ保護の監督機関 (Data Protection Authorities)、個人及び/またはLefts,のクライアントに対し、速やかに通知します。

 

II Lefts,における個人情報に関する権利行使のためのプロセス

1. お客様の個人情報への変更とアクセス

Lefts,は、個人からの、自身の個人データにアクセスする請求、および変更請求に対し、必要に応じて、請求から一か月以内に対応いたします。これらの請求は、セクション II 第6項「お問合せ窓口」に記載された方法で行うことができます。Lefts,は、必要に応じて、期間の延長を求めたり、適正な事務手数料を請求する場合がございます。Lefts,が請求に応じない場合には、正当な理由を提供いたします。

2. 個人データの訂正

個人データの訂正請求は、セクション II 第6項「お問合せ窓口」に記載された方法で行うことができます。

Lefts,は、請求から1か月以内に、可及的速やかに、訂正を行います。Lefts,が訂正請求に応じない場合には、正当な理由を提供いたします。

3. 異議申し立て

個人は、自身の個人情報について、同意を撤回したり、その使用について異議申し立てをすることができます。その場合、Lefts,は、個人が利用を解除するまでは、データを保持しますが、当該個人が希望するサービスを提供するため以外に、データを使用することはございません。

4. 処理の制限

Lefts,は、場合に応じて、サプライヤーおよび下請け業者に対し、当該個人に関するデータ処理の制限について、通知します。

5. コンプライアンス違反の申し立て

Lefts,によって、データを保持されている個人は、当社のデータ保護についてのコンプライアンス違反を、Lefts,のデータ プロテクション オフィサー（以下「DPO」という）に対し、セクション II 第6項「お問合せ窓口」に記載された方法で申し立てることができます。

DPOは、申し立てについて、Lefts,内のデータ使用を管轄する部署の協力のもと調査をします。申し立てに十分な根拠があると認められる場合には、Lefts,は、申し立てを解決するためにあらゆる適切な措置を講じ、必要に応じて、実務も改善します。

7. 個人情報保護方針の変更と更新

III Cookie（クッキー）に関する情報
